Recap of Orientation

Hello fellow bloggers!

Sooooo. How did orientation go? Overall, it was pretty good (: Learned a lot about the campus, clubs, how to get football tickets (lol), classes, etc. Got to see what my dorm room will be like (tiny, utterly, hopelessly, TINY.) Met a few cool people and have plans to hang out with one of the girls before school even starts. (: There was a guy from Holland and a guy from Florida in my group, pretty cool that BSU is WAY more diverse than my tiny town ;)

But then there was that whole staying up until 4:00 am because about three or four little girls (okay, young women my age :P) and three guys decided to run around the halls screaming and flirting with one another. How thoughtful (: We sure did learn a lot about respect, but apparently not how to utilize it. What a shame...

College will definitely be interesting!!

Thank you for all of your prayers. The drive was good and I had a blast with my mommy (: It was a great four days!!

i'm glad you had a good time, got to meet some cool folks and even made a pre-friend! diversity is great - i hope you make friends with people all over the world! and i hope they invite you home with them on breaks, LOL.

uuummmm..the running around and the noise...yeah, get used to it!!! LOL.

it is nonstop when you live in a dorm, unless you have a really strict RA/RC. my RC first year was pretty much a warden nun, so we couldn't even sneeze in the halls. but other years and other buildings where there was no adviser or coordinator, there were many nights of loud, drunken shenanigans going on in the halls, outside, inside, everywhere.

you'll adjust and learn to sleep through war zones! LOL

i am so excited for you!! since i am an old fart and actually miss campus life, i have decided to live vicariously through you. hope you don't mind!!

but i'm going to need every detail chronicling your college life. thanks in advance.

Wow I all of the sudden realized how fast this is approaching. But I know that God is going to teach you a lot in your first year of school and show you where He wants you.

BSU...??? Is that Ball State University? Maybe it's a different one...... But if it is the one I'm thinking of, My Mom went there! That is pretty funny. :)

Glad everything went well!
