Me: Yes?
7 year-old: How old are you?
Me: Oh, I'm 19.
7 year-old: Wow!
Thanks to that little girl I now feel older beyond my years :) Children are the greatest!

That's funny! the same thing has happened to me. But, it was by an older child and also sometimes by adults. Everyone seems to think that I am only around 16 years old. It's funny to see their faces when I tell them that I just turned twenty! LOL!

We don't think we're that old, but to kids we've got some serious years. I remember when I was 6 my oldest cousin turned 20 and I was amazed.
Kids are very special... they even think that their sissy (me) being 14 are really old! lol :)
I had someone thinking that I just turned 17.... I was REALLY surprised~! :)
BTW, did you see the pictures on my blog of Jyll (my new baby sister). If not go look... I am REALLY SORRY that I haven't written you a letter!!!!!!!!!! I have been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO busy!!!!!!!! You know with a baby in the house it is hard to find time to do anything!

Yep, little kids do things like that. My youngest sister started drawing me with wrinkles when I turned sixteen. LOL.

HA! that's funny and so cute. i guess i thought 19 was really old too when i was a kid :-) i remember thinking that all of the late teens 17-19 just seemed so cool and mature.
wait until you have to tell a kid you're 27 like me...THEN you'll really feel old :-o
That is funny. I am almost 15 , but most people think I am 11.
I am also going to graduate in 2011 instead of the original plan of 2013 by having no breaks in school. It is exciting to finish early, but I definitely won't fit in looking 13, but fitting in isn't my goal.
What college do you go to and what are you going for? Were you homeschooled?
Sorry about that, I was just rambling. All my friends are about 3 years younger than I am, so I don't really get a chance to talk about high school and beyond much.
I turned 18 when I was helping out with VBS. And of course people felt that they had to sing me happy birthday. A kid came up to me afterwards and was like, "Now you can buy the stuff TV!!!" lol
