Wow.

Have you ever gotten that overwhelming sense of urgency that you are forgetting to do something even though you already have so much to do?

Yeah... I just realized that in addition to the literally HOURS of homework that I have, I also need to fill out three scholarship applications and write essays for all three.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I'm like the little engine that could ;)

aww, i empathize completely.

i, personally, couldn't stand writing essay for applications, nor papers/essays for school. something about "structured" writing and having to be all...formal and you know...make sense, lol - it bugged me. that's why i like blogging - it doesn't have to be coherent or grammatically correct. no MLA format (do people still use MLA??), no grades, just free thought.

and keep repeating that Scripture - that's one of the most awesome "mantras" one could ever chant. the Lord be with you. you'll get through all the hecticness! (see, that's not even word! couldn't write that in an essay! :-)

Oh! We must've been commenting at nearly the same time. How lovely (:

Essays are the worst! I dread them. It's not that I can't write them, they are simply so boring. And yes MLA format is still quite prevalent in the English world. Although I'm hoping that they will eventually do away with it and realize people are much better writers when they don't have to follow a pattern.

I love making up random words, such as randomosity :D That's one of my favorites! Except, if I remember right, I didn't quite make up that word, I read it in a book, alas, oh well.

I think you are a super writer and you don't have to use structure to be that way, congratulations! :) You officially escaped the claws high school and college tried to dig into you ;)

So I'm trying to piece this together, you're applying college were you born in 1990 or 1989? You're either a year or two older than me and it's not really a secret when I was born.
